Kamenná Hlava is a vanished Šumava settlement lying on the slopes of Žlebský vrch (950 m). The settlement was founded in 1795, but after World War II and the establishment of the border zone, it was evacuated and demolished in 1956. Today, only overgrown foundations and a memorial plaque remain. Nearby is a wooden observation tower with magnificent views of Stožec, the Trojmezenská hornatina, and, on a clear day, the Alps. It is the 8th stop on the Zlatá stezka educational trail.Wikipedia
