The Donauturm is a landmark of Vienna and, at 252 meters high, the tallest structure in Austria. Built in 1964 for the Internationale Gartenschau (International Garden Show), it offers impressive views of the city from its revolving restaurants and viewing platforms. In addition to its tourist importance, the tower serves as a broadcasting and measuring station. Following extensive renovations in 2019, it now shines with a new look, modernized facilities and gastronomy, including the Donaucafé and Donaubräu. Since November 2023, there’s also a spectacular slide that takes visitors from a height of 165 meters to the viewing level. Wikipedia
