The 19.5-meter-high Bismarckturm sits atop Hutungsberg, the highest point in Neugersdorf. It was built in 1904 to honor Chancellor Otto von Bismarck and offers a beautiful view. The tower, constructed from sandstone and basalt, was reopened in 1993 after extensive restoration and is now generally only accessible for special occasions. Originally planned as a viewing tower, it underwent several name changes after the World Wars.Wikipedia
