Vilémov is a picturesque village in the Ústecký kraj region, located in the Žatecká pánev basin approximately 9 km southeast of Kadaň. Founded in the 14th century, originally a market town with a predominantly agricultural character, it experienced growth in the 19th century thanks to coal mining. Today, it offers a peaceful environment with a historic village green, a protected town hall, a column of the Holy Trinity, a castle, and the Church of St. Mikuláš. The surrounding area features remnants of mines and the landscape is influenced by the Doupovské hory mountains. Approximately 622 people live here.
