Palác Smiřických, also known as U Montágů, is a Renaissance palace on Malostranské náměstí, rebuilt in the Baroque style in the 18th century. Today, it serves as office space for the Chamber of Deputies, while actual parliamentary sessions take place in Thunovský palác. The palace features a four-winged structure with corner towers and a rich history dating back to the Middle Ages, when original houses stood here before being destroyed by a large fire. It witnessed important events, including a secret meeting of anti-Habsburg opposition in 1618, and is a protected cultural monument. Wikipedia
