The Prague Metronome on Letná is an iconic kinetic sculpture by Vratislav Novák, built in 1991 on the site of the original Stalin monument. This 25-meter high, 7-ton “machine of time” symbolizes the passage of time and serves as a reminder of history. Despite frequent malfunctions, the Metronome is a popular spot for visitors and a venue for special events, such as the New Year’s Eve fireworks display and promotions for EU accession. It is privately owned.Wikipedia
