Harcovská přehrada, also known as Starý Harcov or Liberecká přehrada, is the first reservoir in Bohemia, built to protect Liberec from floods and as a water source for industry. Completed in 1904, it still serves recreational purposes today. The area around the dam features protected fauna and flora. Harcovská přehrada offers a promenade path and is currently undergoing extensive reconstruction to improve safety and capacity. Wikipedia
