Velký Bor is a small village in the South Bohemian Region, part of the municipality of Strunkovice nad Blanicí. It lies approximately 6 km east of Strunkovice and offers a peaceful rural atmosphere. The first written mention of settlement dates back to 1315. Today, around 90 people live here, and it is accessed by road II/142.
