Petkovce is a small municipality in eastern Slovakia, picturesquely situated at the transition between the Low Beskid Mountains and the East Slovak Lowland. First mentioned in 1363, the village has a long history shaped by agriculture and forestry. In August 2021, Petkovce was hit by a tornado which caused damage. Today, approximately 152 people live here, predominantly Slovaks, and the municipality is accessible via road III. triedy 3609.
