Hostivař is a Prague district with a rich history dating back to the 11th century, originally an independent municipality incorporated into Prague in 1922. Located in the southeastern part of the city, it offers a combination of historical buildings, modern housing estates, and extensive green areas, including the Hostivař-Záběhlice Nature Park with a dam and forest park. The parish church of St. John the Baptist and Toulcův dvůr, a former fortress, are prominent landmarks.
