Slapská přehrada, part of the Vltava Cascade, is the sixth largest dam in the Czech Republic and a popular destination for recreation and fishing. Built in the 1950s on the Vltava River, it offers beautiful scenery as well as ample opportunities for water sports and fishing – particularly for catfish, pike-perch, and pike. The dam is deep and rocky, with a depth of up to 58 meters, and a road runs across the dam wall. A navigation lock for larger boats is planned, but its completion is still being delayed.Wikipedia
