Niva is a picturesque village in the Prostějov district, set in the beautiful Drahanská vrchovina hills. Originally known as Hartmanice, it acquired the name Niva after World War II, unfortunately following its use as a training ground. Today, it offers a peaceful environment with surrounding forests and the Bílá Voda stream, which feeds local ponds. Nature lovers will appreciate the protected natural monuments Návesní niva and Nivské louky.Wikipedia
