The Bříza ojcovská natural monument near Volyně in the Krušné hory mountains protects an endangered birch species, with 23 individuals growing here and a further 60 in the surrounding area. Established in 1986, the site covers 1.03 hectares at an altitude of 692–720 m and is freely accessible. A forest road from Volyně leads to the closer part of the site.
