Klíny is a municipality in the North Bohemian Ore Mountains, near the German border. Originally a mining town with silver ore deposits (since the 12th century), Klíny later developed into a recreational area. Its history dates back to the 13th century, with early mentions as Gerij. Surrounded by hills and reservoirs (Fláje, Janov), Klíny today offers hiking and winter sports opportunities, including the Krušnohorská lyžařská magistrála. Unfortunately, the old church was demolished in 1985, but the municipality has had its own coat of arms and flag since 2007.Wikipedia
