Harrachovská sklárna on Nový Svět is the oldest continuously operating glass factory in the world, founded in 1712. It gained fame for the quality of its hand-blown glass, which was distributed throughout Europe and adorned the courts of nobles and royal families. Today, the glass factory is a national cultural monument with a unique grinding shop from 1895 and a Glass Museum with over 5000 exhibits.
