Hotel Central is an Art Nouveau gem in Prague’s New Town, built in 1901 according to the design of architect Friedrich Ohmann. The building on Hybernská Street once served as an important cultural center – it hosted the popular cabaret Červená sedma and later the Městské divadlo pražské. The hotel boasts a magnificent Art Nouveau facade with rich floral ornamentation and golden accents, although the original interior décor, including paintings by Karel Špillar and Jan Preisler, has not survived.
