Palác Sylva-Taroucca, also known as palác Piccolomini or Savarin, is a magnificent landmark in Prague’s New Town. This late Baroque palace, built in the 18th century, has a rich history and served various purposes, from the residence of nobles to a depot for the National Museum. Today, it boasts a beautiful facade with plastic elements and sculptural decoration by Ignác Platzer, which has been recently restored. Currently undergoing extensive reconstruction, the palace will host the Mucha Museum from February 2025, becoming a new cultural center of Prague.Wikipedia
