Fláje Reservoir is a unique valley reservoir with a pillar dam, the only one of its kind in the Czech Republic. Built in 1963, it serves as a source of drinking water and for electricity generation. Located in the municipality of Český Jiřetín, it is accessible from Litvínov and Hrob. The dam is a cultural monument due to its unusual hollow construction and is part of the water management system in the North Bohemian brown coal basin. The southern shore borders the Flájská obora game preserve, and a preserved section of the Flájský plavební kanál canal can be found in the surrounding area.Wikipedia
