Kratochvíle Castle, located near Netolice, is a valuable example of a Renaissance noble residence with Italian influences. The castle was built in the late 16th century by Vilém z Rožmberka as a hunting lodge and has been preserved in its original form due to a period of relative neglect. Visitors can explore the elegant interiors, including the Golden Hall, admire the Renaissance garden with fountains, and learn about the history of the powerful Rožmberk family. Today, the castle is managed by the National Heritage Institute and is open to the public.
