The Kwando, a 1500 km long tributary of the Zambezi in Southern Africa, flows through Angola, Zambia, Namibia and Botswana. In its lower reaches it changes its name to Linyanti and finally Chobe, before flowing into the Zambezi at Kazungula. The river is particularly well-known for its connection to the Okavango Delta and the breathtaking Linyanti Swamps, which are home to rich wildlife and are part of the Kavango-Zambezi transfrontier conservation area. Its unusual water flow and geological history, which once connected it to the Limpopo, make it a fascinating natural experience.Wikipedia
