Jizerská padesátka is a traditional Czech cross-country skiing race in the Jizerské hory Mountains, founded in 1968. Originally a 50 km classic technique race, it has now grown into a four-day event with eight races of various disciplines and lengths, including races for children and relays. The event attracts international participation and is part of the prestigious Worldloppet, Ski Classics and SkiTour series. The race is also linked to the memory of the tragic Expedice Peru '70 and offers a rich accompanying program including concerts and a historical race of skiers in costumes. In recent years, the organization has faced challenges due to a lack of snow, leading to the cancellation of several editions.Wikipedia
