Kulturní dům Střelnice in Hradec Králové has a rich history dating back to 1797. Originally a shooting range, later the Dělnický dům (Workers’ House), it served as a center for social democracy and workers’ associations. Today, it is a modernist-classicist building with a large hall, smaller spaces, and a garden café currently in need of renovation. Střelnice was the site of important events, including speeches by T.G. Masaryk and the Hradecký Program. The building has undergone many transformations and served various purposes, from a theatre to a cinema, and continues to recall a significant part of the city’s history.Wikipedia
