Lake Most was created through reclamation following brown coal mining in the area of the original town, which was demolished due to the mine. It has been accessible to the public since 2020 and offers an area of 311 hectares with a maximum depth of 71 meters. In addition to recreational use, it serves as an important wintering ground for waterfowl, with over 22 species recorded. Near the lake you will find a relocated church, and it is accessible by public transport. Water is supplied to the lake from the Ohře River and mine waters.Wikipedia
