Lučina is a young village (founded 1956) located on the banks of the Žermanická přehrada reservoir, 7 km from Havířov and Frýdek-Místek. It was established in connection with the construction of the reservoir and offers ideal conditions for summer recreation with campsites, beaches and restaurants. The surrounding area is suitable for hiking, with close proximity to the Moravskoslezské Beskydy mountains. Transport is provided by buses with connections to Frýdek-Místek and Ostrava. Wikipedia
