Horní Tříč is a picturesque village, part of the town of Vysoké nad Jizerou in the Semily district, located approximately 1.5 km east of Vysoké. The first mentions date back to 1634, and the name is likely derived from the reeds that grew near the spring of a stream. In 1976, the village was divided into Horní Tříč and Dolní Tříč.
