Těšany is a historical municipality in the Czech Republic, located approximately 21 km southeast of Brno and nestled in the foothills of the Steinitzer Wald (Stone Forest). First mentioned in 1131, the village has experienced devastation from wars and multiple large fires throughout its history. Until the 19th century, ownership frequently changed hands, shaped by noble families and monasteries. Today, Těšany belongs to the Okres Brno-venkov district and offers a rural setting with proximity to forests and ponds, such as the Borkovanský rybník.Wikipedia
